GC, NCUE has accumulated most experience in developing Guidance and Counseling professions. So, we promoted a world-fisrt localization of psychological treatment and psychological consultation, working hard to bring in eastern culture and every kinds of indigenous culture to psychology research and practice works. We set up the first Center of Indigenous Counseling Psychology (CICP) and Center for Chinese Research Career (CCRC), leading the trend around the globe. We collaborated with Taiwan Guidance and Counseling Association, holding 1st International Seminar on Indigenous Counseling Psychology in 2016. World Indigenous Counseling Psychology Alliance (WICPA) is established with the help of us. The headquarters of the top interdisciplinary academic association, Chinese Indigenous Social Science Association (CISSA), is setting up here. We keep the globe ahead to invest in the research about localization of psychological treatment and psychological consultation, holding Indigenous Social Science Conference & Indigenous Counseling Psychology Conference every year. Plus, we published the first academic journal about indigenous psychology, Journal of Indigenous Counseling Psychology (JICP). We play the point role of a leader to promote the development of indigenous psychology to the whole globe. The idea and follow-up actions have attracted many excellent psychology scholars to come to us observing and learning about continuously.
